The CHRISTUS Stehlin Foundation for Cancer Research was established
in 1969 by surgical oncologist, Dr. John S.
Stehlin, for the express purpose of conducting
basic research that can be applied directly
to improving the treatment of the patient with
cancer.

community service has been provided by the CHRISTUS Stehlin Foundation
for the past 21 years with its award-winning Educational
Scholarship Program. This program provides an opportunity
for outstanding high school and college students who want
to pursue careers in science or medicine to work in the
research laboratory, observe human surgery and make rounds
