The Stehlin & deIpolyi Oncology Clinic

A unique benefit to patients at the Stehlin & deIpolyi Oncology Clinic is their immediate and ongoing access to the research being conducted at the CHRISTUS Stehlin Foundation for Cancer Research, located in its own 18,000 square foot facility on the 12 city block campus of St. Joseph Hospital in the heart of downtown Houston.

Patients are not charged for these studies, but have immediate access to new treatment protocols developed as a result of this patient-focused research and treatment.
Personal care to our patients

Physicians at the Stehlin & deIpolyi Oncology Clinic strive to deliver the highest quality personalized care to our patients.

Clinical trials
Dr. Joseph Rubinfeld, chairman and CEO of SuperGen said, "Rubitecan (9NC) is the most important drug in our broad pipeline, as well as our most advanced and top-priority clinical project. Due to the lack of effective treatment for pancreatic cancer patients, we are taking every step possible to accelerate our Phase III trial in order to be in position to submit a New Drug Application to the FDA as quickly as possible." Articles in top publications
Our physicians and scientists share their innovative treatment methods and research discoveries through articles in top national and international scientific publications. Our staff also provide seminars to major corporations and civic organizations. More
Our physician staff
We ensure continuity of care by having one physician in charge of the patient throughout his or her entire course of treatment. Patients are not tied to a single protocol; rather, the treating physician selects the best therapy for the individual patient, consulting with other staff clinicians and health care professionals as required for the patient’s total care.
