2003 Susan's
Rally

| Energizing
Susan’s Rally are cheerleaders from left to right:
Nancy Newman, Sherrie Rogers, Mary Moore, and Beth Lide. |
What do you get when you fuse an afternoon of philanthropy,
fun
and fast times? The 2003 Susan’s Rally held on April
27 at the Lost River Cafe. This year’s rally participants
ventured out in their automobiles on a zany, fun
and interesting route.
The non-profit, all-volunteer annual event raises funds
for the fight against breast cancer. This year’s rally
donated $35,000 to the Stehlin Foundation.
Not quite a car rally, this event
attracts an array of spirited entrants. “We get people
who are quite competitive, but not necessarily skilled in
driving finely tuned cars,” said Chairman Bruce Roberson.
“In fact, to be successful, you only need some friends
in your car, a sense of humor, an open mind and a tank of
gas.”
The Finish Line Gala and Silent and Live Auction at The
Post Oak Grill set a more laid back pace to join in the
fundraising efforts.
