and scientists regularly share their innovative treatment
methods and research discoveries through more than 500 articles
in top national and international scientific publications.
Our staff also provides seminars to major corporations and
civic organizations as well as cancer screenings at St. Joseph
Hospital and various locations throughout the community.
For the
past 21 years, our award-winning Educational Scholarship
Program has provided opportunities for outstanding high
school and college students who want to pursue careers in
science or medicine to work in the research laboratory,
observe human surgery and make rounds with physicians.

The Clinic
and Foundation work with a number of internationally renowned
scientific consultants, including George Klein, M.D. Karolinska
Institute, Stockholm Sweden, who serves on the selection committee
for the Nobel Prize in Medicine, and Donald W. Kufe, M.D.,
Deputy Director of the Dana Farber Cancer Institute at Harvard
Medical School, Boston Massachusetts.
Other
clinical and scientific affiliations include the Johns Hopkins
University, New York University, Research Triangle Institute,
Rutgers University, the University of California at Los Angeles,
University of Kentucky, Baylor College of Medicine, the University
of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, the University or Texas
Medical Branch at Galveston, Texas A&M University, Rice
